Réuni à Sharm El Sheikh en Egypte les 27 et 28 septembre 2018, le Comité Exécutif de la Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) a statué sur les points ci-dessous.
La Coupe d’Afrique des Nations Total, Cameroun 2019, avec sa nouvelle formule de 24 équipes se tiendra du 15 juin au 13 juillet 2019. La décision finale concernant la confirmation du Cameroun comme pays organisateur sera rendue fin novembre après la dernière visite d’inspection.

La Coupe d’Afrique des Nations Féminine Total, Ghana 2018 est prévue du 17 novembre au 1er décembre
La Coupe d’Afrique des Nations de Beach Soccer, Egypte 2018 prévue du 8 au 14 décembre 2018
La Cérémonie des CAF Awards 2018 aura lieu le 8 janvier 2019 à Dakar, Sénégal
La Coupe d’Afrique des Nations U20 Total, Niger 2019 est prévue du 2 au 17 février 2019
La Coupe d’Afrique des Nations U17 Total, Tanzanie 2019 est prévue du 14 au 28 avril 2019. Le tirage au sort aura lieu le 20 décembre en Tanzanie.
La Coupe d’Afrique des Nations U23 Total, Egypte 2019 est prévue du 8 au 22 novembre 2019
Le Championnat d’Afrique des Nations (CHAN) Total, Ethiopie 2020 devra patienter pour connaître sa date.
Suite au constat de la diversité des trophées pour une même récompense, un nouveau trophée pour le Meilleur Joueur d’Afrique a été choisi. Il en est de même pour la meilleure joueuse d’Afrique. Tous les anciens lauréats se verront remettre le nouveau trophée lors de la prochaine cérémonie des CAF Awards.
